![]() she doesn't like talking and she doesn't want friends, probably because there is nothing she finds interesting outside of her own interests and struggles with connecting with neurotypicals because the way neurotypicals behave doesn't come naturally to her. Every movement is curated, accounted for and monitored and every word is scripted in order to blend in. there was one video in particular where she showed us how to pose and know our angles properly and this is extremely common for autistic females when masking. In a way it's not so much rage as it is a meltdown due to social media taking a toll on her and she has decided to deal with it on camera. Her rage is pretty raw and inhibited and once she gets it out by the end of the video she seems regulated. I can tell that current Alex is the real her because there are things you just cannot fake. I didn't watch her pre-2020, but it came off as very fake, but neurotypical friendly and i'm baffled that people like that Alex more, but different strokes. I think early Alex was camoflauging and this is the real her. ![]() ![]() I totally see her becoming burned out from camoflauging as it is extremely exhausting and you lose your sense of self in an attempt to control other people's perception of you. I still am, but I keep it to myself for the most part. I never insulted people, I was just blunt and very honest. I enjoy watching her videos because a lot of what she says are my internal thoughts that I used to openly say until people told me what I said was wrong/bad. This isn't a hate thread, so sorry to those who think it's cool to call people autistic in a derogatory way, but does anybody else see it? She's definitely at least neurodivergent, imo.
